Chalgrove Dec 08 Jet Fest
1 Attachment(s)
Fantastic day in the south of England, no wind, OK temps and tonnes of flying (so much knowone used my camera much!)
Brilliant day-finally test flew my Yellow P38 Lightning (2 x ZG38's) shes a beast-I know not a jet either! Fitted a P120SX to my BobCat yesterday, three faultless flight/starts. Test flew Rob Westwaters Harpoon II with our Hawk 100 turbine, sweet engine, 10mins on a 2ltr tank-again faultless all day. Si Miller's Bandit ARF was also test flown today, (turned down P120SE) with Dreamworks legs-fly's just like all B ARF's. Took my 2 years to the day ARF with me, but ran out of time to fly it on it's birthday! Usual suspects with more B ARF's Flashes, Lighnings and the ugly Reactor! Great day Dave W |

Nice shot of the P38 . . . . scale props to! Bobcat must have been no slouch with that 120 in it.

Nice day, Dave, wasn't it...Geoff and I had Wroughton all to ourselves yesterday - started at 1000 and finished at 1600 - it was hell being alone with all that concrete, open space and scenery!
