Washer soldered on the pin. Nice simple design.
As with the other type latch it's not hard to make your own but I think you could sell a ton of them.[8D]

Soldering was considered but was not the final method used, it would be very tricky to do well in the confines of the space available. One of the design ideas was to try to keep the whole thing very compact - and light!

I guess you could thread something in there and use the hook method Gordon mentioned.

This is a very nice gadget. The JetLegend L-39 runs its own inside and mine has broken
in 2 ocassions. That's why I'm interested to obtain some of them. It runs from the canopy to the turbine hatch.

Samples and testing tomorrow;)
UK and European requests will be done via Als Hobbies, and working now to arrange a US outlet.
Would like to keep the price keen, so any 'sensible' suggestions would be good.

OK, the update is Seanreit is looking at making them on my behalf in the US for shipping in this part of the world, so with any luck the 'US' version should be out soon. The UK stuff is not far off, just looking at a few manufacturing options, if there is anyone who has some free time to cnc the cases for me that would be a help, oh and a spare cnc machine..........help fellow hobbyists!

As mentioned in an earlier post Als Hobbies will stock them in small quantities until an idea as to volume requirements are made.

I have had a few pre-production units made which test up fine - Hector yours are below and naturally when you get to use them please let me know how they went.
