I have been building the Fouga from Christen Diffusion. It is composite but still a lot of work. It is smilar in size to my Savex L39.

Which turbine is that? Shame there isn't really anything between that and the giant ADjets one..I´d like a 2 x 2 m one for the G-80...

It is a Simjet 700. Similar to the older generation Wren 44. About 8 lbs of thrust.

We have one in our group, flies really well-noisy tail pipe though! V
We have Canadian MAP micro retracts fitted and an old MW 44, your SJ 700 will be perfect power

I will be using a set of spring air. Same as I used in my L39.

We found 300 series SA a little to big and 600, we worried about strength

You are correct. The spring air do seem to be a bit on the big side for this wing.

What micro retracts did you use? MAP has a set of micro and they also list a tams jet set of micro's.

Ya..I know. Terrible shot. If a burglar ever broke into my house he would definatley survive but may run away laughing.

The left target was a machine gun and I had no accuracy. The right one was glock 9mm, I had a little better luck with that one.

I have just asked for a quote from Christen Diffusion and several parts are listed (in French) that I have no idea what they are or whether they are required for the model. If anyone has bought one could tell me which of these bits I need I would be very grateful.

Those are all landing gear parts IIRC.

If no-one else can provide an exact translation for you, try contacting Loic (RCU id "T22 Warrior") or Peter from Altecare, as they are both familiar with at least some of CD's kits and are Bilingual French & English.

Following my recent thread asking about 'builders kits', I have decided to get a Magister. Not quite a kit but it looks like a good project. Didier from Christen Diffusion is doing me a 'partial' painting in the mould so that I can try the paint scheme below. I am quite looking forward to this and will post my progress. Delivery is not expected for 5 weeks or so.

No...They are made by the same company but not listed on his website.  You would need to call him.
