Hi,

I guess some of you have already heard about the Smartfish, for those who haven't here's the deal.

anyway, I'm looking for plans to build one of these r/c flying fish, does anybody know where I can find them ? or if not, something like it at least ?

It is back, called the HyFish, aimed at being the first H2 powered a/c. Project now owned by DLR (it gets serious now).

If I am not wrong, well back in the 80´s a tupolev 155 was converted to hydrogen and it flew very well. Don´t know if the program was cancelled by technical
or financial issues...

Indeed. But wasn't it methane ? Hydrogen cells a that time sounds great !!

It would be nice if he'd come down below 10,000 feet so we could see it!

Sounded like he was getting glitched on throttle at least twice.

well, isn´t the first fuel cell proposed and built around 1840 ? not to mention the Apollo mission practical use of it... ;)
