Boeing 'Skyfox' - help
1 Attachment(s)
Guys,
Looking for some help and pointers. I am looking to mould a jet and was very interested in the basic shape and form of the Skyfox. I know it was designed to utilise the T33 fuselage with major mods, but as only one prototype was made I have not been able to find any dimensional images - Looking at the T33 and the Skyfox there are major fuselage differences, so the T33 dimensions do not really help. Drawings and information if any of you have it would be really greatly appreciated. marcs. |

Any more out there? |

What was it's intended purpose, it sure looked nice airplane but wouldn't be more practical if Boeing would have made business jet out of it like Lear jet did with P-16's design, i mean they went that far with modifications, they could have done it specially with twin side mounted engines! Great subject selected, one rare bird it will be i tell ya!... |
RE: Boeing 'Skyfox' - help
Yes looks kinda civilian, although I might be changing the pods for a slightly different take in 'intakes.
It could be a 'pretty' A10 if there was such a thing! Still need some info to get it drawn up, unless there are any real skilled CAD designers out there who can help:eek: marcs |

Hmm.....well its up in Medford, Oregon at the airport (MFR). You could post on the the general forum and ask if anyone in the area could go out and take some pictures for you.

Bob,
Did see it was parked up there, and it would help to have a few pics to try to get an idea of scale and proportion..... Anyone in the area who can help? marcs |
RE: Boeing 'Skyfox' - help
Marc, I would post it in the clubhouse and title it something like "Any Medford Oregon airplane geeks that can help me out?" and then detail in the post what you'd like. There are a lot of people that like taking pictures of airplanes just for fun. I'd be surprised if you got no bites.
Good luck. |
RE: Boeing 'Skyfox' - help
did you ever get your pictures you needed from MFR?
