I suggest that there be better crowd control for July. There was a Spectator section off the far end of the pits that was roped off for the herds, but yet they were all grazing thru the pits...... I had to tell one guy to quit touching everybodys jets, by the looks of this idiot, he wouldn't know how to fly a paper airplane. I like the crowd control at California Jets, that's a great set up, maybe we can implement that here for LA Jets Summer 09.

On behalf of the San Fernando Valley RC Flyers Club, I would like to welcome the Cali crew to this years "2009" Summer LA Jets three day jet event to be held at the Apollo 11 Field (The Basin) in Van Nuys, CA. The event will begin Friday July 24th. and end Sunday July 26th. We will be having dinner for all registered pilots at the field, this year we will be serving Carne Asada, following dinner, we will give out the awards.
I encourage everyone to bring there pop-up tents, RV"s and trailers, we will be camping at the field starting Friday night, and everyone knows how much fun we have when we camp at the field so I hope we have a good turn out of campers. For anyone who is camping, we will have generators, lights, etc., for your conveinence. I would ask for all pilots attending LA jets, please take advantage of the pre-registration form at the LA Jets web site
http://www.lajets.org I would like to have an idea of how many pilots will be attending so that I will have enough food for everyone, as well as a shirt that we will give to you at the registration table. If anyone that did not pre-register, registration will start Friday at 8:30 am, I am looking forward for another great event, and I hope everyone can attend, please feel free to contact me with any questions at 310-350-1320 or you may email me [email protected].
