RE: Is RCU freezing your computer?
<span style="font-size: large; "><span size="7" style="font-weight: bold; ">RCU only freezes if you go there straight from a hot porn site, or you have been looking at an airplane your really shouldn't think about buying. Now for me personally, I have no direct knowledge of either of these situations. I was just told this by a friend, who wanted to have me sell some things on the site for him, because he does not know anything about airplanes or computers.</span></span>

RE: Is RCU freezing your computer?
no problems for me, 2ghz processor and 3gb ram, using internet explorer, the hobbycity site runs slow for me though

RE: Is RCU freezing your computer?
Hobbycity server is overseas, takes a while longer due to high demand to china, DE servers act the same, also whoever runs Widows XP with less than a gig memory and Explorer 7 or 8 should upgrade mem, and Vista users with less than 2 gig will experience same thing.
Just my experience, I run both systems with max possibel Memory and firefox and can have open windows till my eyes go fussy and no problems at all just my 2 cents to PC's and internet browsing here Michael http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/f.../thumbs_up.gif |
RE: Is RCU freezing your computer?
I've been having trouble on IE. Not sure if it's related but I ended up having to do a system recovery to get my computer straightened out. Seems all the problems started when the freezing started. I was going to download Firefox (I used to have it long ago) but I couldn't even get to the download page, or any other download pages. I lost all kinds of functions, mostly anything with java script or video. The pics on here would load on a separate page. Now it's still sticking a bit, but only on this site.

No problems here...
IE7 32 bit Norton 360 ADSL Very fast...no probs... LLD I have had a lot of problems with various sites using IE7 64-bit...I believe it's HW related to my PCs limitations...Not sure though... |
RE: Is RCU freezing your computer?
Just a quick tip...start by uninstalling any and all anti-virus/firewall/anti-spyware programs, and disable Flash in your browser (or use FlashBlock, if you have Firefox...which you should). :)
Not kidding. |
