June Chalgrove JetFest
1 Attachment(s)
On a day when many people in the UK expected bad weather the Chalgrove jet gang turned out in force and had a great day in the micro climate that exists at this famous site.
Another Flash has joined the gang making it 7 in the club, Tim J had a good day flying his Flash after the Turbine spark let him down again. Three turbine Sparks out today, my P60 version and a new Simjet powered example. I had the pleasure of flying Colin G's ex Jeremy Mcmillan's Reeves Hunter P120 again, this time I managed to get the gear to lock up after a slow inverted pass! Super flying model, only let down by gear problems. Rob Westwater had his rare Yellow Flash out and 4 year old Comp BobCat P70 combo. Plenty of EDF with my HE162 and Colin G's F-18 (Starmax) Great day Pixs by Steve Roberts and me. Dave W |
