Ann and I will be there Thursday mid-afternoon. And we'll be staying as long as we can Sunday afternoon. Since we're not going home right away, but instead heading over to Minnasota. ;-)

I understand that the Jetcat USA has donated a number of discount certificates EACH good for $500 off on ANY JetCat turbine - and to encourage guys to fly on Sunday (OK, this is a kind of a bribe, since Sunday is usually "quiet"!), each flight on Sunday will earn a raffle ticket towards one of two discount certificates to be raffled off for Sunday. But, you got to be present to win! Makes it very much worth everyone's while to stay and fly!!

George, please let us know how the other discount certificates will be awarded / raffled off.

Good to see that one of the sponsors will also be flying. Andy will set up and we should support those that support our hobby. Also after Andy's flight I think he should get some "attaboys" and high five.

The intersection at Meridian and Groh is closed so the following directions is a alternate route to the airport. There will also be Michigan jets sign with arrow guiding you in.

Driving Directions

Start at: Grosse Ile Pkwy

1. Head east on Grosse Ile Pkwy toward W River Rd - 0.1 mi
2. Turn right at W River Rd - 0.1 mi
3. Turn left to stay on W River Rd - 1.4 mi
4. Continue on Groh Rd - 0.3 mi

The weather on Saturday was a washout but it cleared about 430 PM. Many pilots flying. It was nice especially for the fantastic steak dinner with all the trimmings. Sunday was hot but got some flights in.
Thanks to George and the crew for a great time.
Wait till next year. It will be bigger and better.

I won a 500 dollar gift certificate for a Jetcat Motor. ANyone that can use it, send $200 made out the leukemia and Lymphoma Society and its yours. It is a win win.
