servo arms .....
 

hey guys, just want to be safe, are the standard servo arms ok for the flap and aileron on the yellow f-15 if not what should i use.
sevoes using 9411 aileron 8411 flaps thanks

A better way to go would be aluminum arms, but at the least, I would go for the JRPA215 heavy duty servo arms instead of the little 4 way wimpy ones that come with the 9411 servos..The 215's come with the 8411's and are much stronger.

Also alot of time the metal spline of the servo can wear out the plastic spline of the arm. The HD arms tend to last longer. Keep an eye on it over time.

JR 8411's have a metal output gear. An aluminum arm will not wear the splines out. In his installation, the highest loads are on the flaps, not the ailerons.
