Servo Extension kit

I want to start making my own extensions. Anyone recommend any kit they use and trust for jets?

I've had good results with this stuff:

The crimper takes some patience to make sure you are getting the technique right. Key thing is not to remove the pins from the strip until after the first crimp which means you have to bend the pins you aren't using out of the way. You also need a good wire stripper that gives a nice clean cut on the insulation without nicking the fine copper wires.

the quality of the finished extension is directly related to the quality of the parts and tools used to make them................

the Air Wild crimpers listed in the post above are pure junk, get a quality pair, Todd has them. http://dreamworksrc.com/catalog/prod...roducts_id=563

for the connectors always use gold plated and i get mine from Servos & Stuff, absolutely the best prices you'll find at $0.60/pair. http://stores.servosandstuff.com/StoreFront.bok

Air Wild does have the best HD wire out there. http://www.airwildpilotshop.com/More...product&id=568

In the past, I've used 22-gauge shielded 3-wire that I purchased from a local electronics supplier. There was some chatter on RCU a few years ago about the need for shielded long-runs, especially by fuel/ smoke pumps, ECU, etc. I agree with KC, always use a good crimping tool & gold-plated connectors.

Bought the cripper from dreamworks (delivery was $12!!!!). Airwild sold out of the extensions so I bought both the JR female/male leads from servoAndStuff.

Thanks everyone for your help.
