Propped Jets?
Okay, I know I'm going to get "blasted" from most of you on this one but I don't know where else to pose this question. I like jets, especially the F9F, and would like to know if you have suggestions as to where I can get plans to build a jet model that would take a .60 to .75 glow engine mounted sidwinder style. I haven't the funds to get into some of the beautiful jet models I see but, flying off of a grass runway, I'd like to build and fly something like the Ziroli F9 or similiar (something so I could still use the spinner to round off the nose). Any ideas (nice ones) welcomed! Thanks!!

I have several of these and they are a kick in the pants to fly I have a fa 18 that takes a 91 fully operational landing gear struts but stationary on the fuse its about 6.5 feet long and looks just like a real jet in the air I have a scratch built f 84 interceptor and it too looks like the real deal the old f4 phantom from great planes is a good bet for your need they stopped making the kit a while back but Im sure you can find one on craigslist, I think the f14 also a top flight kit is also a good bet let me know what you get and I will try to help you as I can Rickey in Denver

RE: Propped Jets?
Do a search for plans by Pavel Bosak. He did a lot of pusher prop plans in the 70s and 80s. Search FM, RCM, etc.

Heck, why couldn't you do a Ziroli Panther? If a .91 DF would fly it, then a .91 in the nose should too. Heck, its so open inside that you could even probably run the pipe down the inside and almost completely conceal it...

RE: Propped Jets?
Thanks for the input and ideas. Hadn't thought about running a pipe inside the Panther....good idea! I remember reading articles from Pavel Bosak and that also is a great reminder. Thanks Ricky..the F4 would be a good start. I see there are a few friends willing to offer constructive thought here and your modeling advise is surely appreciated! To a couple of you, well,....some things just never seem to change....
