Cheeky Wemotec EDF question
 

Hopefully the mods won't mind if I ask a quick EDF question. I have posted in the EDF forum and have had very little response.

I am looking at installing a pair of Wemotec minifan pros in a Jetarrows A-10. Can someone give me some advice of proven motor/battery combinations as I have no idea?

I rarely post much on RCG's anymore so I'll respond here.

Good combo's for 480MiniFan:
1) Mega 16EDF (16/17/2) and 4s3300-4000's
2) Mega 16/20/2 and 4s 3300-4000's

The 16/20/2 is a bit heavier so will stand more abuse.

Get your motor constants off the Mega website if they are not listed on the dropdown menu.

Other options include:

JS 1400 on 4s (or 5s if want to go crazy, but make sure it is very well balanced)
HET 2w-20 on 4s

Neu 1112/1y on 4s. Good for about 1000 watts. :)
