Airpower Inflatable Tires Question

1 Attachment(s)
Sorry guys for what might sound like a dumb question. I just Bought a Set of Airpower Inflatable Tires and there were no instructions in the package. There is no fill valve or connector (inlet) ment to attach any handpump or air compressor.

Question..... Are these tires really inflatable? If so, how do I go about filling them up?, What pressure figures should I look

Thanks in advance...... I am sorry for what is probably a very trivial quention.

regards, Jose E. Lopez

RE: Airpower Inflatable Tires Question

Hello,

There is a small hole where the air goes in on one side near the bolts that hold the aluminium wheels together. I use my large aircompressor with a blow gun that has a small air outlet end on it. You have to set the compressor at @ 120 psi to get air past the fitting (small hole) on the wheel. Don't put too much air.....they might rupture. I put just enough air in untill the tire feels and looks right.

I filled mine tires up 2 months ago and they still holding air !!

So far I think they are good tires.

RE: Airpower Inflatable Tires Question

Hi Falcon,

I use a hand pump and inflate to about 60 to 70 psi, but like derik said just press the tyres and they should feel right. If you over inflate, they become rock hard. I use the ZAP cyno bottle extentions, cut it appox till the nozzle fits into the hole on the rim. On the other end of the plastic extention i push fit a 4 mm festo tube which is attached to the pump.

Chaitanya.

Measure the diameter of tires to check for identical pressure.
