FlyEagleJet F-15 disintegrated in the air - WARNING

Hello,

my name is Uwe, I am 38 years old and wanted to ask whether someone can help me.

This is the attachment of the wing on my FlyEagleJet F-15

Once the wing is demolished, I contacted FlyEagleJets.
Who take them for nothing.
They say I should have checked before the flight. But how? Should I cut the surface?
I think that it was a Flyeaglejets of construction errors and may not admit it?

The balsa wood Verkastung in the wing is made of 2mm at the end of Holmes on four blots glue.

What do you say?

Flyeaglejet model every time an owner would advise cutting its area and to check on the spar to happen not if. [:'(]

What size turbine are you using?

RE: FlyEagleJet F-15 disintegrated in the air - WARNING

Jet-Central Eagle 13,5Kp

The model was specially built for 160 from a booster FlyEagleJet.
It sounds like the video much faster than it actually was not more than 60% thrust.
Look at the horizon.

Greetings Uwe

My fly Eagle F-15 had the wing come apart on the 4th flight. The main spar and front pin were the only thing still attached to the fuse. Not one piece of hardwood in entire wing all balsa even around the main wing spar. Garbage construction.

the video isn't the best I've ever seen but what little bit it's in frame looked like you were snatching it pretty hard to me. looked like a full throttle dive and you can see the beginning of a hard pull up just before the wing snapped.

@Topgun24
And what did Flyeaglejet?

@KC36330
have easily concluded only with the Flügelabriuss the F-15 took up the nose.
The video has been a spectator zuvällig with a small camera.

Thanks and Greetings Uwe

[sm=confused.gif] can you translate that to English?

I don't know how you could say that, considering out of that 30 second of video about only 10 seconds is in frame and that's including the take off roll. That video shows nothing but the take off roll and the unfortunate loss of this fellow's airplane. I am very sorry you lost your airplane.

I didnt look at the video, but it looks to me the that wing tube "box" is all balsa......if that's what I'm seeing, it's just piss poor construction/design....should be a ply spar box as a minimum....just my opinion....I hate to see planes lost like this

RE: FlyEagleJet F-15 disintegrated in the air - WARNING

should be hot, it was not full throttle.
So hot I have taken ponds that really looks that way. The wing lifts the fuselage nose.

The video is really very bad. It really looks that way.
De Jet flies Mete ten o'clock on the fence.
It has nothing to hit the jet. There were four people on the square it has just seen.
And when they saw the remains of the three pilots who have recorded before the belly laugh.
Thus, an attachment had not seen any.

Greetings Uwe

Actually, you can see on the video just stop, which is the wing during flight departed.
Support the evidence that is not the plane crashed. And then claimed the wing was broken off ...

that's my opinion.
Thus Flyeaglejets can not build them.
It never would have thougt. Even a sailor Plane with 1.5 m span has a better wing fixing.

Thanks

this was the maiden.

The focus summaryplot by the manufacturer was too forward.

maybe your connection is lagging, on the video i saw after take off (at 10 sec) it was given hard elevator for a sharp 180, the second cut, short as it may be is a hard G turn, the third cut is a vertical dive that you can see the start of, hear the trade of altitude for airspeed and then the end result of the pull at the bottom where you can see the fins come back into view just before the wing departs.

the video of the maiden flight has even harder bank and yank flying in it.........

Yep, I would say, "been there, done that" [:@] and I posted the warning and my fix on the FEJ 1/9th F-15 build thread ([link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=8950315]http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=8950315[/link])

Fortunately, mine happened on the ground so I didn't loose the airplane. Sorry for your loss.

I have no idea if the newer stuff that FEJ is putting out is better, but the F-15, F-16, Rafale, etc. are really bad construction and not worth even the discounted price you pay for them. Buyer beware...

Bob

Looking at the maiden video, that jet took some punishment taking off from that field. Perhaps the wing suffered internal structural damage as a result. After seeing that first take off, I doubt any manufacturer would accept any resonsibilty. Better get a smoother field if you are going to fly jets.

I have to agree with part of that. Any manufacturer who would sell a jet with THAT wing structure would most likely never accept any responsibility for anything at any time....

are you effing kidding me???[:'(]

No. I am not effing kidding you!!! I see in your signature, you supply turn key jets. I am sure you would not entertain a claim against one of them after seeing the take off in the maiden video. If you do, some might say you would be effing stupid;).

How can you say that is pilot error????

It's an ARF - In my opinon that plane is poorly constructed and should be ply. Totally inadiquate for the flight envelope, and concidering that it's not the first FEJ plane to come apart - people should steer clear of them.

hello Rick!
please can you point for me the pilot error in that case?
...also how you sujest we check the wings when we open the box and how to re enforce them?

thank you and sorry for the poor english

Interesting maiden. I didn't see any final check of controls before the first take-off; the strip is extremely rough for jets IMHO; after take-off it was straight into an aero routine; no low speed handling check; a rip**** series of haul and yank manoevres including, at minute 3:34 +, a low fly by directly toward the line of parked cars.

I ask myself was this maiden safe? How much more of that kind of treatment did the jet get before the final flight? And on the breakup flight it looks very much to me as if the wing structure gave up as the pilot hauled out of a high energy dive. The plane was going too fast for the camera operator to track it. Are we really surprised?
