Kingtech 80 comparison

Hi, Kingtech owners, before I consider buying one, I would like to know how it compares to a Jet Cat P70. Weight, throttle response, fuel consumption, size and quality. Thanks, Mark.

Do you have personal experience with both the P70 and K80?

I have both.

They are pretty much equal in most respects.
The K-80 is maybe a tad larger in diameter.

I don't own either but I have friends who do and I've spend a lot of time around them. I agree with shok, you would be splitting hairs as they are close in every aspect. If I was on the market for a 17 -18 pound turbine i would buy a K-tech.

Shok,

How does the fuel flow compare between the two?

I don't know how the performance compares - yet. Gonna watch a buddy fire his up tonight....

If anyone else heard the rumor that it was a knockoff of the P-70 - it ain't ! The body of the P-70 is quite a bit longer, although this doesn't show too well in the photo.............
