First Flight
 

I did the first flight on my Skymaster 1/6.5 F-86 today all went well. The plane came out at 23 lbs dry, balance was ¼ behind stock setting with a full UAT. The plane flew real well. I have a P-80SE for power. I am very happy with it. George

Nice plane and great job on the maiden! I have one on order now and should have it within the next few weeks. I'm seriously thinking about the same power as yours. If it weighed a few more pounds do you think the P80 SE is enough? Again great job!

JC I fly at about 5800 ft and used about 500ft of runway. There are a lot of guys flying this plane at 25 to 26 dry. I think it would do fine at your elv. George

Congrats to the maiden. I have to wait maiden my F4 due to very cold conditions, and dark!! To comfort myself, I have bought me a new P80SE to put in to my old Draken (8,5 kg dry). Are you happy with your? Do u have kero start, and if so, did it work well?

I saw George's first flight, looked perfect. I think he said he needed a couple of clicks of trim. He said 400ft of run, I thought it was closer to 300ft.
