Help!! Need JetA Central Florida

Anyone know where to purchase JetA in Central Florida near Orlando. Seems the FBO that has been selling me JetA has decided they can't sell it to me anymore since it's not going in an aircraft (fullsize), Thanks, Steve

The FBO is usually required to sump their jet A truck regularly. And they are required to dispose of the fuel they remove from the truck. Offer to "dispose" of their sumped fuel.

Also...see if you can locate a repair station that deals in turbines or turboprops. Whenever they do most fuel tank or fuel bladder repairs they usually have to drain the fuel tank and they also are required to dispose of the fuel. I have received up to 130 gallons of jet A in this manner.

Either way...you, of course, will have to provide you own containers.

Give it a try.

Any airport that jets fly to will work. Go to another one. Sounds like that FBO is a total a*s. Also have you tried googling Kero to purchase at a c-store?

Here is at least three vendors in the Orlando area that sell Kero:

Steve,
Go to Avion Jet Center at Sanford Int. airport...I bought 35 gallons from them recently.
They are very friendly and happy to please.
The truck driver will drive the truck outside the gate to fill your cans at your car. Don't forget to take your own funnel.

Hey Steve,

Ditto on what Harley said, and also if your heading to RCACF you can keep going north on 441 and hit the Apopka-Orlando airport, Bentley Aviation has a pay at the pump setup for Jet-A.

1321 Apopka Airport Rd # Fbo2
Apopka, FL 32712-5953

The Sunoco Gas Station on 50 between Dean and 408 has K-1 Kero. That is where I go! Works great, been using it for the last 8 years.

Has to be cheaper than $4.60 at Avion.
