CANCEL THE PARTY???
 

Good morning all,

I see from the various posts that many of you are so looking forward to a great time at Florida Jets.
So far, the weather outlook (Almanac) looks great. And I see that some are planning a party at the field, as in the past.
Here's my dilemna. A couple of Sponsors have rented the Holiday Inn South to give you all a Complimentary Party, Friday Night,
from about 7 to 10pm. Hot Dogs, Beer, Chicken Wings, Around the Pool, and all over the property. A DJ playing music, a wide screen TV
playing previous Jet videos, and probably a pretty good time. However, I don't want to put a damper on anyone else's party at the field!
So, do you think we should cancel the Friday night thing? Please give me your opinions.
On another note, if you care to ship your model, we can accept it at FTE and have it brought to the field for you. We can also help in getting it back to you. We have some very favorable shipping rates available to us if anybody needs our help. Just tell me the dimensions of the crate, the weight, the name, address and phone # of the person we have to pick it up from and I am happy to research the rate for you. I think holding the party back at the field would be a better solution as has been done in past years. My thoughts are that since everyone is already in place...it would be easier. Of course, if there is not a big tent area to hold it (like at the Skymaster tent from a year or so ago) that would complelety change the arangments.

Some of us are traveling by Motor home so we will not have local ground transportation as it would be a PITA to move the motor home after it is set up.
A party at the field would be better if possible, if not we can always thumb a ride:D;)

I hope the Saturday night event is within walking / staggering distance:D:D:D:D

This is not a dilemma....just keep whichever party the hostesses are attending. That's where I'll be.
