Guys, just got a calendar reality check.... California Jets is just around the corner, at the end of March!

For whatever reason I was thinking it was in April....

Anyway, my plan was to have Jake's Bandit done for that event so he could run with the big boys....I have not even started on the Bandit at this point and I suspect I will not get a chance to start until after Desert Jet Storm.

So my question is, can it be done? Can a BARF be built in 45 days? And by built I don't mean tossed together....

I have a good friend that says I love working under pressure, but the American Chopper life is getting tiresome! [:@]

So, what say you?

Wife works nights, I work days...we see each other for about 10 minutes at night 5 days a week....She is not a factor....

Ok given the new information, I'd like to revise my estimate. Barf 10 nights and a Super 20 nights plus paint.

a BARF can be built in 3 days. I saw it happen with my own eyes. couldn't believe it either.

Hey Dave,
Ofcourse 45 days is PLENTY of time for a Bandit ARF
I've built and flown 2 in a month !
Its very doable without pushing too hard.

A little glue and A servo screw or two and Jake will be hill climbing with the boyz... I will have mine done as well.

Now, DO NOT HOLD anything I say against Jake...we will only have a booster 90 in ours so we will not be running for pinks....but I have no doubt he will give it all he has....<G>

I am not sure if I can get it done by CA Jets but I am going to give ithell and see what happens....

45 days to build a Bandit, no problem. A BARF can be done easily in a month, two weeks if you try hard, one week if you don't leave the shop, and two days if you don't care how it looks.

Even if you don't get it done for CA Jets, there's something local for The Jakester to run against.....Paul's "Da Shizzle" Bandit
