Sorry I can not make it to Michigan this weekend, prior family commitments make it impossible. I will miss this event that does so much for charity.
I thought everyone going would like this picture of the Michigan Jets flying site I took the other day from our company G-IV. Looks like a great place to fly! I hope to see everyone at Heart of Ohio! Ron Doctorick |
MI Jets Pics
Nice view Ron. Thanks!
Here's a photo page of MI Jets pictures. The young man getting a ride in the Pitts is Adam Rose. He's a leukemia victim. He's been a proud participant in / supporter of our event for several years now. See the photo page posted by his dad: http://www.donrose.net/albums/jets2003/index.htm?7 :p |

Tom,
Thanks for the comments about my photos. I hope they can be a way for Adam and I to thank all you great pilots who put on these fantastic shows. Adam is just thrilled with Michigan Jets each year. One day I hope to see him out there flying his own jet with all you guys. I had fun doing the photos. Hope Art and Burt will let me to do it again next year! If anyone who was at Michigan Jets would like original files of a photo (3000x2000 resolution) or a glossy print send me an email at [email protected] |

Yes, thanks to all. Art, Burt, and all the guys that worked the event, and made the show happen. Will be back next year for sure. Also thanks to all the great sponsor's. I personally won a BV T Shirt, and let me say it is made of the most softest cloth around, the Dodge Viper never shined so bright, & no streaking either. LOL. Again thanks Burt & all the guy's & gal's that helped put on the event. TAILHOOK |

I also would like to thank Art, Burt, and everyone else for a great time! The Flight Line crew was outstanding in keeping everything safe.
I would also like to the Ed, Kim, and Kevin from Great Northern Models for my introduction to the great imported products from Canada (read: "libation"). See everyone at Heart of Ohio in August. |

Burt, Art, Andy and the rest of the crew: As usual, an excellent event. But I knew it would be as it has been just that since the first one. It's what keeps Ann and I coming back every year. Thanks from the both of us once again.
Of the 180 or so pictures I managed to take in between flying (and figuring out how to land) my MB339, this one is my favourite. Oddly enough, it is not a picture of a jet, but of the giant scale aerobatic plane that put on one of the excellent noon time demo's on Saturday. http://pages.infinit.net/rcair/linke...higanJets4.jpg I've posted around 90 or so of the rest of my pics at: Michigan Jets 2003 pictures See you next year! ...jim |

Thanks Art and Bert!!!
It was a long 2200 mile drive from the Seattle area and I got to meet a lot of new guys. It was a well run meet and I got to fly as much as I wanted. The support staff and flightline crew made the event enjoyable. The BBQ dinner was a great way to get to know folks that I have only met through the internet or read about in the JPO newsletter. What made the whole trip worthwhile was a personal thank you note handed to me by Adam Rose and his family as they walked down the pit area to my canopy. Words can not describe that short chat I had with that family. I will always remember this jet meet. Thanks again for an enjoyable time. Roy Holt |

Bert, Art, and all your crew - another fantastic event. Kevin, Kim and I had a great time.
Nick - we'll make sure we come as well stocked for Heart of Ohio! Thought I'd share a few of our pictures from the event. Here's one of Lewis Patton and his Predator. |

This is Joe and Amy Lewis with his Exturbinator. Sadly, the Extubinator met an untimely end on Sunday. Joe's wife Amy though picked up and F-86 kit for him to cheer him up. How's that for spousal support!
