<h2 style="margin: 12pt 0in 3pt">The Route 66 RC Club (70) Members are again hosting the Route 66 Jets Event at the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Litchfield</st1:placename> <st1:placename w:st="on">Illinois</st1:placename> <st1:placename w:st="on">Municipal</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">Airport</st1:placetype></st1:place> September 8-12, 2010.
This facility is rather unique because it has two nonintersecting runways one of them being, with FAA approval, closed to general aviation for the duration of the event. The only thing that prevents you from flying every day and all day is yourself and Mother Nature as the North/South Runway & Air Space is ours for the five days. There are no planned interruptions to you flying when you want and as often as you like!

We will be setting up on Friday September 3rd in preparation for the <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">US</st1:place></st1:country-region> Team Jet World Master Qualifier commencing on Saturday September 4th. You are welcome to arrive anytime to enjoy/help with the Qualifier.<o:p></o:p></h2><h2 style="margin: 12pt 0in 3pt">Open flying for our Annual R-66 will commence immediately after the Qualifier anticipated being Wednesday the 8th.

Hey Lewis, thanks for the prompt response. We will see you and your family at the Blue Grass Jet Jam, Jets Over Kentucky Week and many more during the Summer.
I have, as you are well aware, been planning 10 years for a US Team Qualifier for the Jet World Masters followed by a jet event like Route 66 Jets leading to the World Wide Jet World Masters to be held in America on the grounds of the National Museum of the US Air Force contiguous to the Wright-Patterson Air force Base..<o:p></o:p>Well buddy I believe it is finely going to be just that and will be continuous happenings for many months.<o:p></o:p>All please come early and stay late, Roger & Crew<o:p></o:p><o:p></o:p>

Oh yea David thanks, I forgot to note the availability of a full scale hanger dedicated to the storage of our models for the entire 9 days. Should one hanger not besufficient we will open another.

Planning on doing a touch and go at home after DOGs, refill, replenish, and hit the road to R66/JWMQ.. get there as soon as I can. Bringin the new Flash.. After gettin my doors blown off last year, had to upgrade to a big block chevy..

Oh yea Wayne you were conspicuously absent last year and missed out on absolutely 4 perfect days of action…not a drop of rain ! Chuck informed us that you were up North finishing a house. Hope you and Chuck will be there for the duration?<o:p></o:p>Goose I’m delighted you will be there to help out with the Qualifier. I never had any doubt that you would return with a ride that would lead some laps and not be bringing up the rear. How much blow are you getting from the big block? I well remember the big block era. My last high ride was a Tornado 450 that pegged and bent the speed needle…what a rush !<o:p></o:p>

David just great to have you and yours along with a hawg back with R66.
That's4 confirmed hawgs (David Dennison, Ron Ballard, Joe Grice &jet adic) along with 4 more suspects (Jim Jenson, Eric Clapp, Bob levine & Chuck Storrie). You may want to make some prompting calls!
Oh yea go ahead and print out the Pre-Reg and Smail as it saves you 10 bucks and give us an idea of how many to plan on.

It seemed to be OK and not interfere with flying.....

We are certainly going to do the September 11 Ceremony again.
