CG question

What is the net effect of the cg when balancing a jet with low type wing (verses mid or top) from the bottom instead of upside down on the top of the wing? Would it cause your jet to be nose heavy if balanced from the bottom or have no real effect at all?

RE: CG question

Yes, it could lead you to false conclusions about the CG.

Same as any other plane, jet or otherwise. If ur low wing plane seems "wobbly" and as if it has a very tiny balance zone then flip it over so that more weight is "hanging" below the points of contact between the wing and whatever balancing mechanism u are using.

Otherwise, the model may not seem to balance anywhere.......first tipping forward and then aft when balanced at the same point.

+1 highhorse is corect.

CG must be lower than the "pivot point"
