Dan,

Hyatts art supplies normally stocks it, or order online @ www.hyatts.com

About 6 bucks a roll.

Hi,

Is there one that doesn't leave the adhesive on the plane when you peel it off?

Now there is a thought... your experience with it has been questionable??

I got mine off ebay. ended up paying $15 for about 30 rolls of the stuff and that included shipping.

Glad my wife gets the "teachers discount". :D

Regarding removing adhesive residue, I use the black tape (don't know if it makes a difference or not) and pull it back on itself after sanding the primer down enough to show the tape again. Most of the adhesive normally comes off for me, but any extra is easy to remove by dragging a small plywood stick down the groove, then rubbing it with my finger. It just kinda rolls up in a ball and comes out. A wipedown with alcohol takes out the rest.

Maybe there is some better stuff out there or a better method?

In the instructions for the BVM Mig that I have, they talk about priming (the wing in this case) as usual and then scribing the panel lines into the primer using a straight edge and a tool made from 1/2 of a Dremel cutoff wheel. How does that work?

I'm sure that works but it seems you might end up with more of a jagged edge than the taped line. Besides, I think I'm too shaky for that, one slip and there goes the line....

I think you use the half of a dremel cut-off wheel like a type of file. It is not in the dremel tool anymore.

I assumed using it as a file, just don't think I would get as clean of a line. Ordering from Filmtools, thanks for all the help.
