Jets Over the Amazon - this week
I'm headed off to Brazil tomorrow morning for Jets Over the Amazon hosted by Ary Figueira and friends in Manaus, Brazil (the Amazon!).
Looking forward to this and seeing some familiar faces and meeting new jet guys from Brazil & South America. Who all is going? Too much work here.. unable to attend! but I am sure that you will have a great time there as Ary is a great guy and he is doing his best for doing a great event.

I called Futaba to ask about my plane ticket, and they said I wasn't sponsored by them, AND they had the nerve to bring up the fact that I fly JR.....so it looks like I am going to have to sit this one out. See you in Cali in a couple of months! Also, be honest,.......are you heading out there to break another speed record?!.....or most grass stains on the wings competition? Well I've gotta find a desktop computer as my iPhone can't upload pics here.
The hangar of jets is excellent and weather is actually cooler than central Florida, so a nice change so far. Headed to the field shortly. 200 meter long runway with wide open spaces on each end of the runway. I'm going to fly the Ultra Lightning, 3D Euro & Jet Legend L-39 it seems. |
