A stock EK4 goes around 33mph I believe. It's best know for it's torque (hence THE .70 ENGINE) not it's top speed. MSJ is working on a 2 spd for the EK4.
God only know how fast it would go with a 2 spd and some taller gears!!
If your gonna get a EK4 (which I did and love it to death!!) then just make sure it's a version 2.
Cheers!

Not quite sure about the difference between version 1 to version 1.5 but from version 1 to version 2 heres some of the upgrades:
* Larger cooling head
* Thru bolts and added webbing on the diff cases
* LSN on carb
* nipple relocated on exhaust
* Gas tank raised
* Carb restrictors
* Starter plate
I might be missing somethings but the bottom line is that the version 2 is MUCH better the the version 1 which I feel is just a beta truck personally.
Go ahead and get a V2..you'll love it!! Just take your time breaking it in (1 gallon plus) and it will reward you with HUGE power!
Good luck!
