omg get the Bergonzi Ultimate Monster Truck!! best racing MT on the market hands down. the kit alone is almost 500$, its basically a top of the line 1/8th scale with monster truck beef ups to make it a total monster on the track. Get a .21 hyper 8 port and a JR XR3i and you got yourself a top of the line, rare, stnad out truck!! If i wasnt such a Tamiya fan that would have been my second choice!

for most fun, get a HPI Savage SS Monster Truck. it comes with a .25 pullstart engine
it's $350 on towerhobbies. it's 1/8 scale
u could buy the roto start for it (handheld push button starting, better than ez starts on traxxas vehicles)
u could then buy a good computer radio, hitec aggressor crx, or jr xs3 or airtronics mx3 and u could buy a reverse module and a cheap standard servo for it.
i can't wait until i get some money, so i can get the new savage ss
if u want u could get a rtr savage monster truck with a .21 pullstart engine, am radio, and spend less money on a radio and a little more on upgrades, like aluminum shocks. check out hpi's website www.hpiracing.com and look under savage ss or savage rtr.
check the forum below urs "what should i get"
they all love the savage

most mts or anything u buy will need or ur goin to put add ons..the best thing to do is go to lhs and compare the mts or class u want to get in to..like if u want monster trucks try comparing say a savage21 ,terra crusher and a maxx ..its what i did b4 and i ended up with a terracrusher cuz the savage at that time was too much $$ and i thought too complicated..after 3 months i got a savage then after a month traded my tc for another savage..for 750 if i am the one buying ill get a savage for 400 and sell the new engine to buy a better engine or for 350 ill buy a nice radio and servos

where can I look at this bergonzi online, I have never heard of it. I am lost between maxx, savage, and all those trucks, all I hear is people talking about how good theirs are and how others trucks stink. I guess I will just get one and go from there.

Buy a Dominator Extreme, nitrohouse sells them for $ 550 RTR!!!!!!! This truck normally costs $ 900 or so. It has all the hop-ups you can buy for Dominator, alloy arms, 2-speed, etc...

ill check my backissues for you, this MT is made specifically for racing... also why get a savage? check the picture above for the proof, the terra crusher DWARFS the savage.

I think you should go for the Savage SS, that .25 is looking mean and powerful! With your left over, get a nice radio, and some hopups such as a billet fuel tank and strong servos.

have you seen a bergonzoni drive , I found a website about it but it is very vague about what it has in it. It says its only a .21 car, doesnt say hardly anything.

its a kit for the range of 479$ give or take depending on the distributor. Like i said, once i go home in michigan (in indianapolis at the time) ill get the magazine review about it. But basically, its was described as the best MT racer made, because this truck was mad to be strictly a racing MT. U said 750$, so i was suggesting

the kit: 479$
hyper .21 8 port: 120$
JR XR3i system: 170$

there you go, you got your car, which will not only be one of the nicest trucks you can get, but also one of the rarest.

No, I heard about the Bergonzoni Blast MT, but I don't know much about it so I couldn't say- same goes for the Schmacher XTR and such.

parts will be very hard to find for bergonzoni. i would gwt the savage and sell the engine i sold mine for $80 and have seen them go for around $120 let me tell you i was pissed when i saw that! but then i would get a hyper 8 port $120 at ultimate hobbies or the xtm .247 for $140 both easy to tune and super reliable.

also get gpm ti universals and new tires and wheels.

well I think I made up my mind, I am going to get a savage ss when it is available and get a nice 3 channel radio and a few accessories, I would get the dominator extreme but it is SO LOW to the ground.
