Revo 3.3 Steering Servo and Springs
Hi everyone,
I have the older style revo 3.3. I just got a new engine, went through the break in but now I want to upgrade a few other things on it.
The first is: what do you guys think about a single steering servo. I've heard it saves battery and quickens up the steering. What servo do you guys recommend (stock servos are 2x 80 oz inches)... and on a budget. Maybe 20-30 dollar rang.
And my springs have lost some of their plasticity... I think I need some new ones. I like to run on and off road. What do you recommend?
Thanks!
Blair

RE: Revo 3.3 Steering Servo and Springs
If you want to run one servo I would recommend a Hitec 645 it has 133.31 oz at 6v but I prefer two just to help keep thing balanced... Its also good to get a heavy duty servo saver spring and you will need Hitec servo horns... For your springs get tan for the front and black for the rear, I use 60wt shock oil in the front and 70wt in the rear for my E-Revo and it works for me.
