your savage was shifting before that. correct. how many tanks do you have thru your truck? Does the truck run fine other than shifting?

An OS A3 plug is made for aircraft engines. they have a much smaller element and you probably are loosing power. I would suggest the OS A5 plug. it is a great plug for the .21 size engines. it has a large element and is able to hold heat much better. your plug can definatly change performance because it changes the tuning of the motor. you can get the performance back by tuning, but the wrong plug will make the truck more tempermental.

The truck was shifting when it had the stock plug and when it was rich. When i put the A3 in and started leaning it out a bit it stopped shifting.

I also took the reverse out, so i thought mabey i messed up while taking it out, but when i took the trans apart everything looked fine.
I tried to play with the shift screw but it did nothing.

But could that be causing my shifting problem?

The A3 lowered your compression slightly. Probably changed your needle settings a fair amount to. This may have caused your shift problems, or maybe you messed with the shift settings when you took apart? Try a McCoy #8 (MC-8) as well. Little bit colder, may work well, especially if your running 20%+ nitro.
