Kinda sucks there iss olitle TT stuff here in the US, as big as I am into RC I never even knew about this truck!

i cannot wait any longer for it so for now im going to get the EB4 G3 then get the MT4 when stock comes in. i hope the parts are interchangeable. also for now i will pair up all my 2 cell packs. then decide if i get some new 2 cells or just get some 4 cells.

Definitely report back how you like the EB4 G3..
What would an MT4 normally cost for you in the UK? Depending on shipping, you could maybe get one for under €500 including shipping from Germany. It's in the EU, so no Customs.. Shipping costs might be a killer though...

I don't think the EB4 parts are interchangeable with the MT4, it's based on a different platform. The EB4 is its own chassis, been around in nitro form for a long time. The MT4 is based on the ST-1. They are similar, but not the same. Just sayin'...

you say customs will be fine but this is the UK and they will do anything to get more money out of you. [:@]
foxy do you know what parts are the same as i could look out for used parts and save myself some money.

I'm not even 100% sure that what I'm saying is correct, it's just that there have been several EB4 based cars (I had the on-road for a time), and in my experience they are basedon a different platform than the truggy. If there are a few compatible parts, I'm afraid I don't know which they are. Like I say, I might be wrong, they may have updated the buggy based on the MT4 and the majority of parts may be compatible, it totally depends whether they updated the EB4 when the G3 platform came out, which they may have done. It's going to be a bit of a lottery I think, maybe someone around here knows for sure.
You definitely will not pay VAT twice when ordering from an EU country (it will be included in the inital price). Whether or not HMC&E will charge you for processing or something like that is another matter. they do that here in Greece and its usually in the region of 20-30 euro, they call it luxury goods tax, ridiculous.

"Drive shaft gap"?..
Check and tighten all screws, including wheel hexes.. Make sure pinion grub screw is tight(I had one fly off..)

Not something I'm aware of. I had a shaft break, but that's another issue..(could be cold-weather related too..)

i have seen that the mt4g3 is having a bigger delay. if i was TT i would want this trunk in shops as it seems very popular.
