before i started drooling over mt's i was sick of "which is better, tmaxx or savage" threads but now i'm about to smack myself because now that i want a mt, i can't decide between a 2.5 maxx or a savage 25! i feel like a retard! i mean i love my gt right now but i want somthin BIGGER!!

if you have a wallet in the $2000 depth, then the maxx can be a great truck, but now im kicking myself for getting the maxx over the savage21(at the time). after $1000+ in upgrades, it is still a pain sometimes. my only real thing i couldnt stand was the engine. i bought a fantom .18 and once i get a glow igniter and better air filter tonight i suspect i will be very happy for the time being... or at least til the center drives snap in two

Dom, around $400 RTR all you need is a glow driver and a bottle of Loctite.
If You want to splurge get a starter box, Pull starts are a drag

A buddy of mine and I have three T-Maxx's. Another buddy of mine has the 21 Savage and just bought the 25 SS. We are all in agreement that the Savage is the way to go. I have $2000+ in my T and my bud has the same $ in his. The T-Maxx is great but in our opinion the biggest bang for the buck is with the SS. We also have experienced better luck dealing with HPI than we have with Traxxas,

For what it's worth..... Either way you will have a ton of fun!
