Default where do you drive your truck

i'm just putting a general topic out there.
where do you run your truck?
what kind of sites do you like?
where do you think is the best place to run?
and does any one else live in eastern Massachusetts? if so let me know because it gets lonely running my truck by myself.

I live in Vegas so there is a lot of desert. I take it in my backyard, my frontyard for testing stuff and then I go to empty lots and all over. I go out of town a lot to because i ride quads so I take it with me and drive it there too.

Hmmm.... I run mine at home for testing & jumping, at work for jumping & lunchtime entertainment, state park for co. picnic entertainment, a dirt track, friend's grass track, construction sites, off road courses, in the woods, mom's house, empty parking lots, & whereever else I can.

With all the tracks in the area, don't you go to any of them?

I race my T-maxx at an off road track in Pembroke, NH on Saturday's and sometimes on Sunday nights at an outdoor asphalt oval in Salem, NH. I live 30 min. north of Boston and usually run around my neighborhood.

construction sites are FUN but usually are hard on my truck...unexpected bumps everywhere...hitting at full throttle...not good.

I test my Savage on my front street and do most of my Bashing at the BMX track.Unfortunately I don't have a real track to compete on so the BMX track keeps my Savage from getting bored.

I found an area that was not used and built up some big jumps with a shovel. Its kinda like my own little track. Sometimes kids on BMX bikes mess it up alittle, but not enough to worry about.

Nope I dont go to the tracks. The tracks are nice and I have been to them a few times but just not what im into. With my e-maxx i went to the tracks maybe 3 or 4 times but with my savage now i just go to empty lots and theres a lot of dirt here so the tracks arent too special compared to the other stuff. Im on my way to Dumont Dunes for halloween, going to take it out there too. I cant wait its gonne be great.

injectedsmile16,

It seems like you are not into racing. I’m not into racing myself and some of the racers get pretty serious. I just like to have fun and watch the way the real good drivers handle their cars since some make it look so easy. And although I can’t drive like a pro-driver, I do appreciate a high quality R/C car. It is probably because I'm an older phart reliving my second childhood and tearing up R/C cars is cheaper than tearing up the big cars as well as being easier to repair.

I am in your area quite a bit since I like to eat at one of the restaurants at Boulder Station, watch movies there, and appreciate the valets. I also have some relatives here in town who like to eat at Sam’s Town. If the weather is nice, I don’t really care where I end up in this town as long as it is not stuck in traffic on the strip.

Are you going to watch the R/C flying this Friday at the Silverbowl? The HPI Challenge this week? Or are you attending the Hobby Visions convention? I’m going to try and make all three in between going to the LV Motor Speedway on Sunday and the Ghostbar on Saturday for a private party. I don’t drink, but I want to take some photos from the Ghostbar. After all, it is 55 floors up. Next week, it is the ¼ scale Supernational races in Boulder City.

BTW, I saw a photo some time back of an E-Maxx with two brushless motors in it. It was supposed to haul.

Hey Tigger, yeah i am not really into racing. It is fun to watch and to drive on the tracks but its just not my thing. I would rather take it to some abanded dirt fields with big jumps and stuff like that. The racers at the tracks here do get serious but I would probably do if I got really into racing and spent a lot of money on my car or truck or whatever they race. I probably wont be going to any of those events, I might check them out though, who knows? Anyway Justin what do you ride? I ride a slightly modded 400ex. i am going to dumont this month and taking my savage. I cant wait to see how my savage holds up in the dunes.

Holy crap, your Maxx has a trailer!

I run my Maxx and my buggy pretty much anywhere I can. I run them both on the track also, the buggy handles WAY better than the Maxx though. I usually run them 2-3 times during the week and Fridays at the track. On the weekend it is open season on any construction site I can find.

Damnit, I ran the buggy at work today and got a little repremand. I have run my truck here tons of times, but the buggy is allot louder than the Maxx. I had to toss half a tank of fuel!
