That's freakin' crazy in all aspects not to mention VERY impractical. If you're in a race where the R/Cs are running that fast your best bet would be to let everyone fly around the track then cruise to a win after they all break. The owner of our LHS has a Mugen that was clocked by police radar at 101 mph in a parking lot. That kind of speed is useless on a track with jumps unless you're actually trying to break something.

the only reason it goes so fast is because of the 3-speed tranny not the engine, it's just a thunder tiger engine. put a hyper 8 port in it and it would go faster.

This is funny - Everyone always wants a bigger motor - My NTC3 with a .9bhp engine does almost 60Mph. If you set your car up with right gearing and right over setup, it will fly with a low end motor....
As for the Schumacher - Good quality product. I would like a Menace 21 but don't have anywhere to race it. It would out run most touring cars.

I had the schumacher desert storm and it was a total POS. The truck was track ran and a simple single jump broke the rear A-arm. The shocks needed re-built before break-in and the
you HAD to use schumacher rims. Now you can use other rims. The TT motor never over heat though ,great motor! Don't take my post the wrong way. I just had a bad experience with the schumacher. I still have it in chassis form cause the only place to get parts for it is their website. I'll be putting it on the auction block soon.

I say the best thing for that truck would be a nice race-legal .12 that'll bring the speed down to about 55 and make it a somewhat raceable truck (for really awesome drivers only, of course).

I have the menace and I love it. It is a great basher and it jumps and handles pretty good too. My kids like it alot better than the savage.
