there are no nitro clods that you can buy. It is made by Tamiya.

yea there r no nitro ones the closest thing to it thats nirto is the x- factor. the clods r made by tamiya

Really... that's really intresting to hear... All these years I thought there were nitro clods... Hmmm...

the Clod would be difficult to make nitro because of the suspension geometry and articulation which is probly the reason. plus the nitro engine would want to load up when rock climbing (unless you tune it properly i suppose) and getting reverse. the whole chassis, axles/diff assembly , suspension etc would be diff to accomodate nitro hence it wouldnt be a clod.

perhaps a couple of .12/.15, one bolted to each axle like the electrics are now and geared down would be an exiting project.

there is nitro usa 1 and it is very familiar. It has long been discontinued.
