Well i'm thinking about getting the titan twin, but want some opinions first.
How is the suspention?
Is it fragile?
What do you think?
Oh and i am just bashing, and maybe a little bit of racing w/my friends.

ofna makes some pretty good monster trucks but 3rd party support stinks. If you dont plan to do extensive upgrading go for it. If you do plan to upgrade pick up a Savage.

I suggest a Savage, because it will be much cheaper and you can use the extra cash for fuel and a high torque steering servo.

Does anyone know anything about the pricing on the Twin Titan, I have heard that hobby stores will be selling it for just under $700.00, has anyone heard anymore details?

My wife and I been discussing looks of different MT's - She likes how the Titam looks. It has a tougher and meaner look she says. So she likes it.

if the gearing is the same 2 engines wont make any difernce in speed than one. But, with two engines you would be able to gear higher so more speed.

As for speed - it would help with acceleration.

Be sure to take whatever I say with a grain of salt. I've been known to be wrong and yes!! more than once. LOL I think the Titan is a pretty strong truck. I've seen it tumble down the hill at the track many, many, many times. I'd be a bit more concerned with the driveline if OFNA doesn't make it a bit stronger. I would think that they would, no?It seems to handle the terrain pretty good for such a big truck.

How big is this to the Associates MT??? Which is bigger. I have seen both but not side by side to compare at different hobby stores. I have not seen either at any track yet. Would like to.

I have no idea about the assoc. truck, but the titans tires are jumbomaxx size and the truck stands about 10-16" depending on body

the MGT and the Terra Crusher are both bigger than the titan. The only truck bigger than either of these is the XTM Mammoth.

The Titan deluxe is the the biggest of ALL 8scale m/t trucks in wheel base, it has a 16 inch wheel base, the MGT, TC, DD, TQ, TK, are all running wheel bases of abot 14 inches, the mammoth has a wheel base of about 15 inches.

I had a titan deluxe. got rid of it for a savage. the clutches burnt up while breaking it in. i put in some aluminium ones then. the next thing to go was the front dif. i rebuilt it using savage spider gears and put diff lube in both axles.to run the failsafe you need a hump pack, normal batteries not good enough.it did handle good the center of gravity was low could slide it around on pavement with out it rolling.it wasnt the best for jumping it was to heavy.
