they are not the same trucks......they are almost the same truck.
the ss comes with a different tuned pipe and i think it still has the old fuel tank. the 25rtr comes with the plastic pipe and has a new fuel tank. and i think there was something else....but i forgot

the 25 comes with roto start and a 3 shoe clutch, the SS comes with upgraded dog bones and a pipe and pull start.
you build the SS, the 25 you just tale the engine out locktite the backplate then put it back in.
the tank on the SS works with no problems.
big deciding factors really come down to , do you want to build it?
do you want a pull stat or a roto start ?
