Default Wasp .26/ Picco .26

My stock .21 finally gave in today after a few gallons... yea I mistreated it Well I'm planning on upgrading to the .26 picco/wasp. What are some mandatory upgrades that I should get before dropping in the badboy if any. Thanks in advance.

I would at least go to a steel spur by Robinson Racing and get the HD dogbones or the Titanium ones from new era...

a 3 shoe aluminum clutch is all i woul get.

my bud has the picco 26 in his 21 savage and that is the only upgrade he did and it screams... about as fast as the buggies on the track.

a steel spur gear is always a good thing though too.

dont get the steel spur if u do ur going to b stripping internal gears like crazy te only reason the stock one would strip is because its taking way too much abuse and willl give away if it wont strip then say bye bye ot the internals and have fun takign them apart i would recomend gttignt he 49 tooth spur though so you wont have to cut your tvps (if ur placing into a savage) and you wont have ti widen the mounting holes for the engine i woudl also reccomend adjusytable engine mounts because the engine is slitly longer then a .21 and the back part of the clutchbell will rub against the spur but no worries it will wear downa nd be fine after breakin

the only reason i have ever stripped a spur gear is because i put the wrong spacing in it when putting the engine back in.

with a steel although it is nice to get the proper spacing if you happen to be a little off it will not destroy anything.
