RE: Anyone still running a four stroke?
Mad Dog,
I think the novilty of running a 4stroke has worn off
there were some conversion kits out there but I think the same problem always pops up
"COOLING"
The damn things just aren't designed to be in rc cars, they have no cooling fins to speak of.
I've seen a few conversions, but everyone I saw had to rig some sort of battery and coolong fan set up to keep the engine temp down.
So you end up carrying alot of extra weight
Maybe for a rock crawler set up it would be cool
You know what would be cool, is a big 4sroke, like a YS.91 in a Dominator Extreme all aluminum truck??? Humm I just so happen to have a chassis laying around,, OOOh I have an engine too, aaah I have spare aluminum stock for a motor mount,, [X(]
Who has a spare EK4 clutch/flywheel???
Stay tuned
