The Stampede is the best jumping electric truck..period!! It will take impacts that you cannot describe! Many say it is the best jumping RC out there! It wont wheelie out of the box, but with a Trinity Speed Gems 2 Saphire and a Rooster esc, it will wheelie.

Im assuming you are talking about Nitro. If not let me Know. This depends on two things how long you can ride a wheellie out and what kind of set ups your jumping from. I can already tell you the stampedes suspension is not set up for huge jumps . cant really tell you about the upgrades. If I had a choice between the stampede and Rustler 2.5 I would go for Rustler. The Rustler is a powerhouse. Although it is not considered a compitition truck the raw power should provide unlimited fun. And with the speed that thing can get up to you can pull off some pretty amazing jumps!!!!!!!!

I'm talking electric. The suspension is extremely durable. It bottoms out easily but keeps rebounding for more!

It's been a long time since I've held the controller for what used to be my Stampede but it definately took a lot of abuse. Full throttle jumps weren't uncommon but tumbles were. I had a blast with it & I've seriously concidered replacing it but I'm not really into electric anymore. Mine wouldn't wheelie unless I lifted the front end with my hand but it would ride it until I hit something or let off the throttle.

My stampede is my HUGE air jumper i built a jump thats o 4 feet tall (?) and the n i put it on top a a 5foot hill or so so it was gettin bout 9 feeat or drop/air.....was that enough you ask? NO! so then my frined or I lifted the jump as soon the stapede got close to the end so it was getting aboout 14-16ft of air . but then the stupidskidplae/brace thing broke becuase screw fell out but I love my stampede/
