$300.00! What nitro car??
Hi. I have 300.00 to spend on a nitro car. I need a off-road car. and not duratax. DOes anyone have any suggestions for me?? I NEED SOME ADVICE!! $300.00 NO MORE NO LESS! %100 RTR with controller!\
Please help a 14 year old out with his first nitro car!

I think $300 is the base you will need plus about $50 for glow starter,oil,fuel etc.And those cars mentioned above arent really for racing.

Well, im not going to race AT ALL! just off-road in my back yard and some minor ramps! I want the cheapest Nitro car out there!! What about Duratraxes nitro cars?

Decide what you want man. Do you want a car? or a truck? You ARE in the monster truck forum. For 300 bucks, take the sport maxx. There is no better choice for the money. You can upgrade it to 4wd later, and add the 2spd.

Eh you are a very confusing kid. In a previous post you said you had a nitro, but sold it after a couple months.. What was that about?

You get what you pay for. You will need around $500 to get started with all necessary equipment. Or you could take the cheap route and have the bare minimum.
The glowstarter goes onto the glow plug and heats up the coils. You only need this when you are starting the car. Once the engine is running, take off the igniter.

doesnt it seem odd that he has 496 posts? and ive seen that name before in many forums. seems kind off odd to me. but to help whoever u are out i would get nothing. save more money untill u can afford something descent. im 13 and i have my 4th truck i mow lawns for cash and make about 90 a week. i purchased a t-maxx with many hopups im happy but i have a feeling if i would of went the cheap route i would of spent more time ordering parts than driving. although my maxx doesnt like to run very long before tumbling for 30 feet and and breaking something cheap that plays a huge roll in the truck. save a bit more or just order a sportmaxx and then wait a bit longer untill u can afford fuel and all that good stuff. with a sportmaxx u do not need a glow starter. there is a little controller that comes with it and u just plug it in push a button and wait till it starts. usualy starts in 5 seconds. if u are gonna just do a little backyard bashing (light bashing) that is the sportmaxx will last u forever. untill the 2.5 craps out on u You also might want sumone to teach u how to tune the engines youll be doing alot of it. maybe go with an electric truck i dont know anything about electric but u could tru it alot of people have them ALOT LESS maintnece than nitro well hope i helped a bit. peace out

Mt-2 without a doubt u can get that and a nitro starter pack for $305 great truck not that much breaks, 4WD, 2speed trans, verry fast!

Tower Hobbies makes a CHEAP Nitro ST called the Nitro ST-15. The price: $189.99 RTR or $134.99 Prebuilt. Althought I've never had it, or known anyone who had it, I wouldn't recommend this truck to anyone who isn't a complete n00b or just completley poor. And I'm not saying that it's a bad truck or anything, just that it has bottom of the barrel features.

DO NOT GET THE ST-15 ......i have one and the engine sux its under powered the radio sux and the tires are like plastic .....it has duratrax stresstech plastic

In another thread you said you needed $70.00 to fix your little electric car. All of a sudden you have $300.00 to spend on a nitro. I think you need to spend more time studying for school and less time posting nonsense on this forum!

yah, im getting money for christmas and my mom said I can get a car for that much for christmas.
I get good grades in school.
And I cant beleive you guys, I dont know why all of you are so mean to me! I never was harsh against you!! And yea, I had a Nitro before and I decided to try again. So yah......... And well I was looking at duratraxes Nitro Cars and there really cheap! So mybe ill look into them.
And I don't know why Im so UH to you guys. Im just a kid who likes R/C. and ive posted more helpful forums then stupid ones. and half you people get your posts from making fun of poeple!
