Diff cups, and some people get a weak transmitter. Some people also say that the stock servos are not very good, but they work well enough. The engine can flood pretty easily so starting it can be a pain some times. Other than that, its a great truck.

weak diff cups (would rather have them break than something expensive).....flooded while breaking in, hasn't flooded since break-in.

sp33d, What made you decide to buy an MT2? I am just curious, since I havent seen you posting on any of the MT2 threads.

cause i have a savage 25, rs4 type ss acura, and a nitro rush wich are all hpi and have had absolutely no problems with none of them so hpi has treated me well and the mt2 has a savage inspired suspension and i love the suspension on my savage, and i wanted a 4wd stadium sice i already have a 2wd wich is to squirely for my liking but helps the driving skills improve, why do you think i made a bad decision ?

Guys, he is referring to the HPI nitro MT2, not the CEN funfactor MT2...

I think that Nitro7 was referring to the Cen, since he has talked to me extensively about it. Sp33d on the other hand, I completely forgot that HPI had come out with the MT2. I guess from now on we need to put a Cen or HPI in front of the MT2 so we are not confused any more.
