Company wrong or am I?
I went on to Epic's website and I was looking at their .18 engine. I looked at the bottem and it gave the dimensions wich were Bore-16.4mm and Stroke-14.0mm. I wanted to see if it came out to .18 or close to it so I did what I was told and I did 16.4x14.0 to get the displacement. It came out to 229.6mm2. That comes out to 2.296cc wich on convert-me.com says is .36ci???
What did I do wrong? It probably was a careless mistake but I am very confused right now and I can't find what I did wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

RE: Company wrong or am I?
the web site is wrong because i know that a .15 = 2.5 cc (trx 2.5) so a .18 should = 3.0cc
your dispacement is wrong aswell. you cant just multiply the bore and the stroke.
what you do id fint the area of the piston and multiply by the stroke.
area of piston = pi R squared
16.4/2 = 8.2
8.2 squared = 67.24 *3.14 = 211.1336 * 14 = 2955.8704
the 2955 is in cubic milimeters. there are 1000 cmm in a cc. 2955/1000 = 2.955
to find cubic inches you can multiply 0.06102
2.955*0.06102 = 0.180314 cubic inches
your math was wrong and i dont know what you did on that web site but that wasnt the answer you were looking for i know.
i hope you can make sense of this.
