Default OFNA Titan and Savage 25 Comparison

Wanna see big?

Look at the comparison between the OFNA Titan and Savage 25 below.
Just imagine the titan beside a T-maxx. Plus nothing else to upgrade. Every gear you can imagine in this truck is hardened steel not to mention the massive cvd's.

I have purchased two K&N Part # 62-2480 for $14.00 each. I figured that this will be $10.00 cheaper than two motor savers. In my opinion, a K&N filter will have to be cleaned less frequently compared to any conventional air filter. Some might say that running K&N's are unsafe but I honestly think they will do a better job than the tiny stock foam ones.

Also added is HPI foam part #72439, ($3.00) for extra protection in extremely dirty condition.

As seen in the pictures below, they are about the same size as the stock filters.

I would but I don't have one. I would not spend that much for a Truckzilla anyways. And it would not be that wide either, right?

It is recommended by OFNA to tune the engines one at a time.

But everyone has their own way. I just tune them both at the same time to get the temperature within 5-10 degrees apart from each other. In other words, I am just tuning them by their temps.

So far, it has been much easier than tuning my T-maxx 2.5.

Nope, the truckzilla only adds and inch at most, the TVPs it comes wih arent really extended, you only need them because its a side exhaust engine and they are notched out for it. Its a way overrated kit IMO.

how fast does that go with those 2 engines? cuz i heard it really doesn't make it faster, it just adds more torque. somethin like that.

I purchased them from an authorized K&N online retailer.

You check out the distributors at:

http://www.knfilters.com/online.htm

A lot of dealers will offer free shipping and without sales tax. That a great deal to hard to pass up on.

Thanks for your compliment.

I purchased it from tower for $660.00. Pretty cheap huh?

It is way cheaper than to get a t-maxx or savage 25 and having to upgrade them to get similar performances.

Think about it,

Savage-$429.00
Aluminum Shocks-ex. Integy $119.00
Decent Aluminum Pipe- $35.00
Dogbone Upgrades
etc.

It will be worth as much as a Twin or even more. Also with a Titan, you can take one engine out to have a spare.
I think it is the best bang for your buck.
