Try getting a piece of plywood and putting it on a cardboard box or a milkcrate. You have an instant ramp for almost nothing that you can take with you.

take some ply wood and cut up 2x4's or w/e and stack them as high as you want and nail them together as you go up or just goto tooys r us and buy the nice one they have by the bikes, its made out of some sort of plastic but if its strong enough to hold a fat kid on a bike it can handle your beast

RE: How to build a ramp??
hi,
well i am not exactly sure but it seems fairly simple. by studying some pictures in a link below it looks like all you need to do is:
get three pieces of ply, (plastic or whatever) and cut the desired angle and curve into them (they all have to be the same as each other). then you have your two side pieces and the middle support piece for the ramp. then you get a bendy piece of ply and screw or nail it to the three pieces already cut out (on the curved or angled side of the side and support pieces). once that is done you just need a piece of sheeting for the back, and if desired, the bottom.

RE: How to build a ramp??
cheers 4 that link.
im thinking of making a jetty jumping ramp.
remember rc are very light. a few kilos. the ramp does not have to be strong enough to hold u. even cardboard is strong enough (but not long lasting). this means u can keep the ramp simple, and even disasembleable for easy transport.
