My brother fun factor MT2 is broke as he is trying to replace the spur gear but is unable to get the old ones off!! Can anyone help my brother as he is hoping to run the car tommorow!! Please help.

It is the truck with two speed transmission that is out in the open. right?

How in the hell did he brake the spur gear? Did he strip it? If he did, once you get it off check the gear mesh. The reason why it striped so soon (if it did strip) is because the gears are out of allingment. I am not quit sure how you take the spur gear off but I am looking at my MT-2 right now to figure out how.

it had some dirt in it we think but we cant get the gear off to change it

is that the gear attached tot he engine? And is it the 16nt engine?

right engine, but 47tooth spur gear!
