My new Zilla IV project (new pics)
Well its been some time now since I have been into monsters but ever since I traded away my Jugg I have missed having one. So I searched ebay for a few weeks and picked up this one. I got all this for 350.00 shipped. I have 3 boxes alltogether but one is missing The box I am missing has 2 more stock wheels, a set of chrome like wheels with tires. Two radios, one is a futaba magnum sport complete, and the other is a traxxas tq3 w/reciever and crystals.
Everything in the pictures came in the first two boxes.
And here it is with the rest of my cars.
This is going to be a slow project for me. With summer almost here I will be spending the time I have on my xxx-s and xxx-4 getting them ready for race season. But thats why I picked up this truck for somthing to do in the off time, that and it looks so cool with the others :up

Here is the body I got with the truck. It has some scratches on the out side of it so I just give it a quik paint job. Some pearl white with true blue as the main. THe truck came with no masks, what a pain tapping.
If its nice tommoror I will take a pic of it outside so that everyone can see the pearl.

That thing is HUGE!!! Congrats! I think you really really got a good deal! Keep us posted on the buildup.
So, will it be a runner or a showpiece?
I have a stock 87 clodbuster that I have been considering modding like that, and I can tell you it will cost me
much more to just get the upgrades!!! Maybe I should just search for a modded clod like you and save
the $$$ and keep the 87 stock.

RE: My new Zilla IV project
Here are some new photos that I took today. Not sure when this project is going to be done. The money I had for it went to buying a rtr txt-1 off ebay. So I think this truck may becomce a shelf queen for awhile.
I added some new shocks to the truck and a ser of big joes. Not sure yet what I think of them. When I first put them on they came off a few minutes later. However I put them on and I am getting use to them now.
