There is a liquid that you can dip your receiver in called The Stuph. It is made by Tyler Industries Inc. (203) 284-8311. That is the number on the bottle. I bought it about 7 years ago, so I don't know if they are still in business. I think I bought it from Tower Hobbies, but I am not sure. RC boaters use it to waterproof their recievers and servos.

You can also do a home-made waterproofing... using [link=http://jagrc.com/water/balloon.html]THIS[/link] guide for the servos, and [link=http://jagrc.com/water/shock.html]THIS[/link] for the shock springs.

Nice link Nightmare. I personally don't go snorkling with my RC's, but every once in a while you hit a wet spot. The only thing I have seen that will cook instantly with water is speed controls. I have gotten melted snow, water, and general moisture in my receiver without ill effects. I just made sure I didn't run them long like that.
