Lets face it; this “LOSI LST ARRIVAL DATE” thread has changed our lives. So, with the success of this thread I have decided to expand upon this concept with some new threads. What do you guys and gals think of these future successful threads:
1. LOSI LST SHIP DATE ARRIVAL DATE
2. LOSI LST DATE THAT WE WILL GET NOTICE OF THE SHIP DATE
3. LOSI LST DATE THAT WE WILL RECEIVE MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE RELEASE DATE
4. LOSI LST DATE THAT THEY ARRIVE AT LOSI ONLY TO BE SHIPPED ON ANOTHER DATE TO THE DISTRIBUTER THEN TO YOUR LHS DATE WHERE YOU WILL RECEIVE A CALL SAYING THAT THE DATE HAS FINALLY ARRIVED DATE
5. DATE WITH A LOSI LST REPRESENTATIVE (THIS COULD BE A CONTEST)
I smell a huge success with these new threads!!!!

does any body know for sure with whats going on with the LST. my LHS told me yesterday june 23 04 that they were on there way.I have also payed in full for the LST.and after reading what u guys have writen here sounds like to me there not going to be out till mid summer.

How about we all pitch in $1 for each date we give, the person with the closest date wins the pot!
In the event of a tie, the winners split the pot evenly.
All guesses have to be at least one week from the actual release date, so if you guess July 22, and it does come out on July 22, but you placed your guess on july 20, than your guess would be eliminated.
How's that sound!?

599.00 american street price, but some hobby shop's have a lower price! even 599.00 is a good price if you really think about what all you get with this truck! steel tranny gearsportable roto starta real big block .264 huge metal shocksa real big block tuned pipeand a jr fm radio!!

Didn't even cross my mind. I'm gonna need a rollbar for the first few laps on my track. There's a triple-double that has the shock towers names written all over it.

i have a new era roll cage on my MGT i hope they make one for the LST they are the 3 point light wieght ones.. if you guys havent seen that roll cage i have a couple of pics of my MGT in my gallery.

Well, heres my theory on that. Take a look at the shock tower. They mount on one side, and the body posts are on the other. Now, remember that this truck has an opening for another servo in the rear. That servo, as i was told, is for an optional 4WS. Now, with that option, you would have to flip the shock tower, mounting the shocks in the rear, so the linkage could turn the rear wheels from the front, near that new servo position. That change puts the body posts on the opposite side. So, now that you all know how LST obsessed i am, thats my theory.

makes sense..i still dont understand why you would want 4ws tho.going 44 mph and 4ws will not mix to well. lol.

Thermal, what are you gonna do with all this pent up energy when you do get your truck? I would think you had better take alot of deep breaths before ever firing up that .26!!

Well, first im gonna crack the box open. Then im gonna start to take out the front diff, and the rear diff. Then im gonna fill them with silicone diff fluid. Then i'll make sure they get put back together with machine thread screws if they dont already have them. Then i'll put the truck back together. Then im testing my linkage. Tweaking the breaks, and all other linkage. Setting the toe if necessary. Then im mounting the fail safe. Putting in the RX pack i bought, and adding a fuel filter (damn, i dont have that yet). I'll check all screws, and make sure everything is functioning properly. Then im gonna sticker the body up with Xtreme RC stickers, FRC stickers, and BannedRC stickers. Then im gonna put a hole in the body up front, and put the dubro body clip retainer in. Same with the rear. Then i'll most likely fill my tank, double check my gear mesh, then take it out to break it in. If its raining then im going to the indoor track, and i'll break it in there. See! I have a plan! I cant wait to get my LST!!!
