RE: LOSI LST ARRIVAL DATE
Hay people, which sounds like a FASTER idea. I buy a genesis, take out the engine, sell the truck, put the engine in my soon to be LST, and get a 3 speed transmission.
Or, buy a LST, get a higher rpm engine(Sirio27), and get a 3 speed transmission.
The reason i ask this is because my buddy(who owns a buggy) says that even though the sirio has more rpm, it will have trouble with the LST. He says that it may have more acceleration but less power and speed. He says if i get the gen engine then it will still have decent accelaration and higher speeds. Also the reason that i am talking about buying the gen engine is because i can't find a .46 engine seperate from a truck anywhere! If anyone knows where i can find a .46 engine seperate please let me know where.

RE: LOSI LST ARRIVAL DATE
Ok, first off lets use some common sense here. The LST comes with the Mach .26, it moves this LST to upwards of 40 mph with that engine. Now, the Sirio .27 is one of the most powerful engines in that category, if not THE most powerful. So, tell me again why the Sirio would have a hard time with the LST? By the way, the .46 is NOT even the same engine MOUNTING size as the .21-.28 size engines. If you plan on mounting that on an LST you will have a project truck on your hands. Now that i've soo nicely answered your question, do you happen to know anything about the arrival of the LST? Ship dates? Whens your LHS gonna have it? etc....etc..etc.

RE: LOSI LST ARRIVAL DATE
I just got back from my LHS. I put my name down there several months ago for the LST and I was the first on the list but I didn't put any money on it. So I just went to check on that, and I'm still on the top of the list. The guy said that 5 other people are behind my in line. I was gonna put some money down on it, but he said I didn't have to. He said he'd hold it for 3 days after it's in before he'd sell it to someone else.
He didn't know a date, but he said it should be within the next 2 weeks and he'd call me when it's in. I can't wait!

RE: LOSI LST ARRIVAL DATE
Woot, finally commited myself to the LST and put my down payment on it. Hope I made the right decision, taking the LST over the Revo. I was really happy with my LHS. They are selling it for 579. I think that is a screaming deal over the 599 all the mail order places want. I am psyched...

That is a good deal, my LHS will be selling it for 599. I think you made the right choice, the LST comes with a great radio system, it's bigger, and has a big engine. Losi has a great reputation and the truck just looks all around solid and impressive.

RE: LOSI LST ARRIVAL DATE
Its actually gonna be pretty wild when she finally gets released, the forums are gonna flood with posts.
Thanks to everyone buying one RCU is gonna be a hoppin place to be come LST time next week?
Although I am excited of the release and the fact that there is one out there on its way to my house,
I do have my hands full with my SS.
It will probably end up sitting on the workbench until the savage is built and broken in.
Cheers everyone! Happy times are just around the Corner
