It wont have the roll cage is dont think. Now the mammoth has the agressor radio. But in the furture(im thinkin in ajust a matter of months) the mammoth WILL be up[graded with better gearing for more lowend and i believe the 5mm towers.

I say no, dont get the mammoth. It is a piece of turd. I have one, so I can say this freely. It's a 400 dollar piece of crap. My truck is currently up for bids on ebay, I've had it for a week and it cant handle crap. Control arms always break, shock towers always bend, and you have to make wide turns, it doesnt make sharp turns. This truck blows

The truck cant handle nothing and if you own one then you probably know. A monster truck is meant to handle the rough play and the bashing. The mammoth is the big ***** cat of them all. Also I wouldnt buy a MGT because it sucks too. I'm selling my mammoth to get a savage, its much more durable!

Please dont bash the mammoth. Why dont you fools quit lying. The mammoth is not a truck that is made for ignorant newbies that drive savages and maxxes and know nothing about rc and cant drive. The mammoth is not a fool proof truck it has its weaknesses. You try bashing with a stock savage that goes 50+ mph vs a mammoth and see which one lasts longer. Do me a favor NO MORE REFERING TO THE MAXX OR SAVAGE IN THIS THREAD. If your ganna argu and bash take it some where else.

Exaxctly! Thats my poinrt. The mammoth may break a little easier than the savage but the savage cant even do 40mph! The mammoth does 52mph! Symplithi is obviously a newbie and no's nothing of a trucks certain limit. Sypro buy the mammoth and have fun![8D]

Yes when your going 50 mph monster trucks tend to do that. go buy you're savage and take you're bashes back into the savage forum. the mammoth needs some mods to be as durable as the savage and the savage needs A L O T of mods to be as fast as the mammoth.[:'(]

Crazy thing is most people dont relize that just because it is called a mt doesnt mean that it is a basher because if u ask me the mammoth is almost like a big stadium truck low cg and more of a racer and if that aint your cup of tea dont buy it but I must say I luv the truck and use it for racing other trucks on my local track and must say savages and the likes are a diffent breed then this truck and shouldnt be realy compared but hell anything can be broken my savage is a great truck too but cant keep up to my mammoth but someone will say but if u changed this and changed that u could but isnt that the same as saying change this and that for the mammoth so it can bash hard like a savage ? all my r/c get some modifications done to them to suit my needs ..

why even compare a truck designed more towards racing, to a truck designed for bashing, both need work to do the other ones original design purpose

i was debating over mammoth or savage a while back, only reason i went savage is my lhs carries its parts, and i won't have to mail order

mammoth 100% much better for racing and like someone else said, you have to modify any truck for your needs
